1. To provide a Christian centered environment where children can develop inner resources of
confidence, independence, and creativity and experience Christian love among peers and staff.
2. To provide a developmentally appropriate program that offers a balance of opportunities in verbal
and listening skills, large and small motor skills, social skills, creativity, and music.
3. To provide for parental involvement utilizing an "Open Door" policy. Any person responsible for the
child may come to the preschool to observe and/or speak with the Director or any of the staff.
4. To keep channels of communication open through the use of a communication center, monthly
newsletters, and encouraging parents to volunteer time in the classroom.
5. To provide a program that is sufficiently staffed with mature Christian individuals who are
familiar with appropriate guidance techniques, developmentally appropriate practices, and positive interaction with children .
Background checks have been performed on all staff members to ensure the safety of our students.
6. To provide a program that offers both indoor and outdoor physical environments that promote
growth and development through opportunities for exploration and learning.
7. To provide a program designed to prevent accidents and illness, and prepared to deal with
emergencies should they arise. Children will be educated concerning health and safety practices.
8. To provide adequate nutrition to meet the needs of growing children. Nutritional information
will be provided and good eating habits promoted.
