The staff at Small Blessings Christian Preschool meet or exceed the standard
educational requirements
set by the Carson City Health Department. In addition, each
year the staff must complete a minimum of 12 early childhood units.
Each teacher/aide
must complete an FBI background check and be fingerprinted prior to coming to work at
Small Blessings. The
entire staff also has training in First Aide and CPR. We work hard to
maintain a good teacher-student ratio. Our three year old
class teacher to student ratio is
1:7, our four year old class ratio is 1:9, and our Pre-kindergarten class ratio is 1:8.
Another
thing we are proud of is our low teacher turnover: currently, our entire staff has a
minimum of six years working with Small
Blessings.
